well its been a while since I have updated the blog, but on a fairly quiet evening I thought I should fill in any one who is reading this what we’ve been up to these last few days. For me (M) there has been a lot happening in my lil’ world. Although I have thoroughly enjoyed my work at Foreign Voices, I felt it was time to move on, so a few weeks back I handed in my notice. According to my contract I have a month’s notice but as my boss is off on holidays in August I will probably carry on there, on an ad-hoc basis, whilst filling in applications, and generally trying to get my life back on track. Its been a hard year so far, and I am glad to feel that I am over the worst of it, and now the only way is up!! It will be interesting to see what the future holds…
This past weekend we were able to go to Belgium with Vince’s dad and hang out with Blair, Amy, David and Lorraine. Those of you who have been following the blog will remember that we went there in October last year. Since then Blair decided to move back to New Zealand so needless to say it won’t be as easy to nip over and hang out for a weekend. It was perfect though. There’s nothing quite like hanging out with family and friends and not having to think about anything else…. Hopefully won’t be too long before we see them all again….

sorry to hear it’s been a rough one and happy to hear that you feel things might be looking up.
We just enjoyed a great week with Sahba visiting us here in Canberra. Maybe another Australian holiday would do you some good??
