Mainly because most of mum’s family have been living in Iran I never really got to know them, but over the last 3 months Bahiyyih, was able to get a visa and stay with them. Managed to learn how to cook some yummy Persian dishes, including Halva, Faloodeh, Mirza Ghasemmi. I’m looking forward to practising these one day soon. Anyway it was really nice to spend time with Bahiyyih and interesting for me to see the resemblance between her and mum, although she is a lot cheekier… maybe that’s where I get it from?!
