Ok, I know it’s cheesy, but I work for a national tabloid, what can I say? Last night we were fortunate to be graced by the presence of two intrepid travellers making their way home from Haifa. They started off in Paris and have many other destinations to follow before they arrive back in Australia at the end of August, needless to say were pleased to receive them on the London leg of their journey. Edward and Noel Broomhall both served at the Baha’i World Centre while Manijeh and I were there, in fact they were their long before us and long after us too, but as is the way of these things their time to leave had come. Edward served in the Department of Conservation and Noel worked in Master Reference Files. No doubt their dedicated services will be sorely missed.
Anyway, we were delighted to have the chance to host them at our home for dinner with another ex-BWC friend, Peter Lorinc. We reminisced and caught up on all the latest Haifa news while hearing about all the interesting places Noel and Edward would be visiting after they left us. It was also a great chance to get to know them a little better, it’s not often you meet people who’ve had seven kids, four of whom are adopted and all from different countries! They are quite the dynamic couple and we’re only sorry we didn’t get to see more of them while we’d been Haifa…

Goodness, the five of you still look like you did two/three years ago when I last saw you! Is Peter in UK for good?
Manijeh, remember when you, Peter, Edward, Noel, and I were on stage once with the choir singing “Blessed Is The Spot”? Memories, eh?
Yup Peter is here for a while… when you coming to visit? I need your help with labelling some pics and not sure how to do some capital letters….
I will let you know when I visit London to visit the queen, which is of course you.
I am so gald to discover that I’m NOT the only one labelling photos after leaving the World Centre!
Ancheta! I can’t believe we have to hear from you via a blog comment! Dude, i live next to Manijeh and Vince. are you good? Sorry guys, i know i could just email him!
love ya all!
Aren’t Chris and I the lucky ones here in ournew home town of Brisbane…waiting the arrival of the Broomhalls when they travel here later in the year to see their family.
